Doctor Who fans are in for a few surprises when David Tennant hands over his keys to the Tardis.The 38-year-old Scottish actor will be seen for the final time playing the famous time lord in a two-part special being screened at Christmas in Britain.
The End of Time episodes, expected to screen in Australia in 2010, see the Doctor battling the evil forces of his nemesis, The Master, before regenerating and adopting a new identity.
Tennant, who has played the Doctor for four years, said he believed his final episodes were an appropriate send off - full of emotion and surprises.
